The Gators sit at 18 commits ranked just outside the top 10 on Rivals. UF got big news adding KJ Ford and Heze Kent over the weekend. So, who is left on the board? QB-Done RB- I believe done OL- Done TE- Might not be done WR- add at least 1-2 DL -Done (maybe) on the edge, not in the middle. LB- will add one most likely S- would like to add 1 C- Would add 1 That is at least 6 more which would make 24 Best bets Wingo at WR. Would take Groce but I think he is leaning to OU. Would take Sneed as a flip from the Vols Still in the mix for Johnson, Sone and could circle back to Cleveland. UF has also been in contact with former Oregon commit Viliami Moala. An overseas guy is also not out of the question. Forkpa is still the favorite for the LB spot but UF is still looking there with Williams and one or two others who shall remain nameless for now. Womack would be huge at safety, but OSO may have the edge. As always names will pop up between now and ESD. That's the good, the bad is the Gators need a good season to keep guys from getting poached.
Still a good bit of talk about Izayia Williams coming back to the good guys Candy. I suspect this will not be over until NSD.
I have been told if Sneed wants to flip, they will take him. As for Kent, he wants to play TE but he can be used in various ways.
And regardless of his comments, the TE who went back to Hawaii from IMG- I’d think he isn’t as committed as he says. That is a long way to away to go to school and he has already returned from Florida once to Hawaii.
Please, no. Don't waste any time or money until December 1st. That way we get a commitment the week of signing.
Do they plan to is a good question. Somebody in that group may get a pink slip but maybe they can afford to wait and see.
It ain't me MOM, Napier has a policy of keeping the door open and numerous recruiting pundits are saying UF is still pursuing him aggressively. As you may recall he recently visited (AGAIN). The same pundits say Williams is actually a good kid and may not be "greedy" as many here have suggested. I'm not saying I know, I just listen to the pundits. I understand you and Wanne's frustration. But in today's environment it's really not a bad idea to keep the lines of communication open. Besides, Ole Miss will probably step back this year and UF may leap forward. He could be got. Whether or not he comes, the Gators do need at least one more linebacker in this class, IMO.
Wingo set to announce tomorrow, one service projects him as 87% Gator. In State kid, good size, a lot to like, hope it goes the Gators way!
A cording to other sources I seem to recall that UGLY really liked Sone. With Johnson pulling the flip a too that likely means the pups go all in on securing Sone. Would be shocked for him to announce for the gators.
Well, it will be tough to beat UGA, but maybe the Gators pull out all the stops, this is a huge position of need and this guy Sone is freakish. I will keep my fingers crossed.
