Lame. We could have done better with input from our own board members. LE PEW. WANT EXCITEMENT? Stop allowing the out of control NIL from turning the college game into a sports version of narco terrorism. I truly expect the next head of the NCAA to be a TONY MONTANA clone doing news conferences with two kilos of cocaine, two razor blades and an AK47 on the podium. TO prove a point: 3 proposed rules changes for the SEc days to approve. 1. Handguns and 40 rounds of ammunition ( per family of four) will be allowed in the stadium. Now considered props like Pom poms and noise makers. Hey if we can allow stupid cowbells we can allow anything. 2. Fans have complained about drink prices for 50 years. Fifths of hard liquor will be permitted by fans in the stadium. Two limitations will be no child under 12 years May drink ( Ohio State fans would complain) and PLASTIC bottles only, no glass. Safety concerns are paramount. 3. Each team will be allowed 30 timeouts ( without cause..per half) so the games can be extended beyond your wildest dreams in order to increase commercial time availability. Getting every play correct is essential to the spirit of the game. Pillows and blanket rentals will be a new revenue stream. Next week…ROLLERBALL is under consideration for college sports.
Austin Simmons, Taylen Green, and Jackson Arnold ahead of John Mateer? That's some serious projection.
