Walter with a superb night and his best night so far Will Richard had a marginal night but the warriors team struggled mightily
Should be noted that this was Walter's first start in summer league. Probably let him play more like his college game as the lead guard. He was the high scorer for both teams in the game. It was a bit awkward watching him play coming off the bench and showcasing his other traits rather than what made him special in the first place. I am unsure if he will start when the season begins but he may need that type of role to truly reach his full potential.
Late in the Auburn FF game Broome POUNDED Will, knocking him to the floor, no call, even the announcers were stunned by the no call. Then Martin got the revenge with the turnover / steal and best dunk of March Madness against two Tigers.

Alijah having a ridiculous game I've never seen a +/- of 36 before (still 2 minutes left in the game) https://www.espn.com/nba-summer-league/boxscore/_/gameId/401793892/league/nba-summer-las-vegasBulls vs. Raptors (Jul 11, 2025) Box Score - ESPN
Coach Golden hasn't had any issue identifying and acquiring talent but having 3 guards stick to NBA rosters, all of whom significant contributors in his system (and one first team all American) is a recruiting banner to point to as long as he's the coach
Watching Martin play the point was just amazing. He's fast and decisive with the ball in his hands. Wondered what Billy Donovan was thinking about him.
Always thought he would stick due to defensive intensity. Good body for bench. If he can become a Bruce Bowen type could have a long NBA career. Look how long Finney-Smith has played in NBA with his defense and intangibles. Great team player
