Even though it's been many years when she was on the View she was extremely critical of Trump. The Donald is very thin skinned and nobody holds a grudge like the Orange One. Although I have no idea what it was apparently she must have recently said something that set him off. Said it in a previous post if Trump's threat has any effect at all it could be reviving the career of a minor celebrity who has been fading into oblivion.
Seems like it's his MAGA followers who are spun up by it, with the OP and the next 2 posts salivating over the idea of Trump violating the law again.
