Forgot about that one but you got me. Completely outside the point I was making but I will admit we have had at least one alternate uniform since Napier has been here.

Meaning, in context of the conversation, you saying that almost sounds like you decided Napier in fact did pick a bad alternate uniform himself and the outcome of that game is somehow related.

I'll make an important note: We don't even know if the reduction in alternate uniforms was Napier's decision. It could very well just be a branding decision or a push from boosters. We're attributing so much to him we're down to the uniforms on things we're blaming him for both for not enough alternate uniforms and for "he'll probably pick this because it's bad and he's bad."

Don’t overthink it. You said we never had a single one under Napier. I just pointed out that was incorrect. My ending statement was more of how could one forget that game. The uniform choices have nothing to do with Napier’s wins and losses.

Well it could be worse....with both the uniforms and the losses.

 

I never remember uniforms as games. I was at the alligator skin game but have no clue who we played.

I remember that part. I just don't remember who we played or if we won or lost. My memory just does not work like that, partly because I don't give a shit. They can wear tutus as long as they kick George's ass

 

It's dumb enough that we talk this much about uniforms. Dumber still that we argue about it.

I was unfortunately there for that. We lost by a last second FG to Dumbo and Tamu. All we had to do was punt it out of bounds and not to Christian Kirk. Only seconds left when he had a 50ish yard punt return and they lined up with a walk off win. I blame the uniforms!

 

I remember drinking a lot after that game, uniforms not so much.

 

I misremembered because i was definitely not there for that.
