I made a new thread for the 2026 version not to diminish your 2025 thread. I'm sure there are changes and new things in the 2026 game. If I messed-up the new thread title, please feel free to change it.
There are indeed many changes and upgrades in the 2026 game. They've made the lighting dynamic again, which is cool because it changes as the day or evening advances. Can't wait to play it but I'm still enjoying the 2025 game and am almost to 2040 in my Dynasty. As a Dynasty player, I don't care much about the real-team rankings, as after three seasons they are all make-believe players anyway. I always play as the Gators in Play Now, but only do that once the game is new.
I will take this VGF, at #12 this suggests UF has a shot at the playoffs. I'm pretty sure me, you, and the rest of Gator Nation could live with a playoff appearance.
Nice! I play Road to the College Football Playoff online against other players. I play as UF, naturally. I've been to a few flayoffs and won 1 natty. I was 8-0 in a 10 game season last night and just needed one win to make the CFP. Lost the last two. They were nailbiters. Ugh. It's really fun working up a scheme to use on opponents. I have a good HB Zone play to the right that I run first play from scrimmage. After I show that several times and get on the right hash, there's a play action bootleg to the left out of the same formation that absolutely burns them up, esp when I'm getting 9 YPC on the HB Zone. I also like to show the RPO with the tight end in the flats a couple times and when I think they're catching on, audible to the RPO where the TE runs a fly route. 9 out of 10 times, if he's user-ing to take away the flats, the fly route is open. Lead the pass towards the seam and you only have to beat 1 safety on the way to your TD, lol. Baiting people is the best! On D, I have an infinite amount of User Lurks from Sapp. Fake rushing the QB and drop back to cover shallow drags, curls, etc. Hell, I have a couple of TD's from him by intercepting Option pitches and then taking it to the house. 1 more day...
The only thing I know about the 2025 game is that I watched my grandson playing the LegHumpers one day and told him any time he sees ETN it will be a run or dump-off pass . . . so he blitzes every time now and laughs and laughs as he "crushes them." LOL!

I'd rather have us further down, like 2030 or something. Gives me something to look forward to and increase the anticipation.
