Look for Brown to start being considered for a higher profile job sooner than later. If Brown replaces Freeze at Auburn, you heard it here first. It sure seems that the Auburn boosters have tightened the purse strings on recruiting effectively starting a coaching search.
It is probably appropriate you left off Prothro for this Saturday. Despite our need at receiving TE over his other 2 options, I will believe it when I see it that we have enough NIL willingness to spend on him.
I've not heard, read or otherwise sensed UF being more than a hat on the table. I'm not even sure they are actively recruiting him. There is a chance (better) that UF if it adds a 3rd TE would go all in on Sneed. A third TE you say, yes in a H-Back roll I would assume. He will be on my flip watch thread I'm working on.
Candyman - it needs to be more regularly stated how much these posts are appreciated. I am sure they take a substantial amount of your free time, so thank you for all you do all the time.
Seems our nil priorities are elsewhere. You never really know whats going on but we know where are biggest holes are and maybe thats not it. Hopefully our soohnore te breks out this year. Nobody is really even mentioning him. Is DJ the type of qb to throw heavily to a te? So far, it seems DJ likes his deep targets more. It comes down to the skillset of the qb and we went top tier in wideouts that can get down the field and make plays.
How optimistic are we in landing KJ Ford? 90% 95%, and if we whiff on him are we going to try to get Jake Kreuel with a new offer? How do you see this playing out, candyman?
Any thoughts on what's wrong at Auburn? Terrible record last season. I do not see Auburn as a rich school and the money would likely only come from boosters who have confidence in the HC. 5-7 does not create that.
