I know it got good reviews, but I found Mountainhead almost unwatchable. The acting was good, but the story was boring and grossly disturbing. Not a good combo to watch late on a weekend after eating a big meal.

It was disturbingly plausible, that's for sure

I caught the movie Oddity and enjoyed it.
It was a great set up but probably could have finished better. I still think it’s worth a viewing.

Yeah, unless we count the early scene of them watching the "Call On Me" music video (maybe that doesn't count, but that scene stuck with me for several reasons). The movie was not only unique but it felt more intense and "real" to me than most war movies. Caveat: I've never experienced war and have no idea what is or isn't "realistic," but I liked that there seemed to be less reliance on the action sequences.

I saw Pavements. If you’re a Pavement fan, it’s a must see. If not, avoid it.

Also just watched Late Night with the Devil. I liked it!!

Most recent theater viewings were 28 Years Later & Materialists, both worth seeing IMO

Saw the movie "Sinners" this weekend on Max, starring Michael B. Jordan.... I was pleasantly surprised.... A new spin, on a genre of movie done repeatedly..
