    If you don't want to incentivize it and its their problem, you really have no right to complain if they don't do it.

    If it were that easy, we could presumably just stop teaching English (and other languages) entirely.

    Its also not 1990, and its much easier just to get captions or just non-English media in general.

    I paid taxes, why did I have to pay to send my kids to college? I guess I could have taken out a college loan for them and let Biden pay it off.

    And if your kids when to a state university, it was far cheaper than a private school because we all pay taxes that go to education, even the people who don't have kids who go there. Public K-12 doesn't charge tuition because we all pay taxes to fund it because we, as a society, think our society is better if people are educated. And maybe it's better if more people could speak English well.
