Again, I've never blamed "all Christians" at any point in this thread, and you've failed to show where I did that in your other post, after I called you out on your B.S. What does the Bible say about lying? I do have a low opinion of these types of Christians, though, who have a great responsibility of taking care of other people's kids and fail them miserably. It's in line with the religion's ugly history of molesting kids, and covering it up, we've all heard about. But even further, Christianity is basically just a business at this point, profit motivated, and deserving of the same criticism as any other business when they screw up ... no different than someone at toy company doing the math to decide how many kids have to choke to death on a toy before a recall is cost effective. It probably wasn't cost effective to move those cabins out of the flood way, they needed that $4300/month per kid, right?
I should have framed it as a step above rumor and a step below confirmed. https://www.facebook.com/share/195Bibr2z7/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Can add that Hurricane Andrew and 9/11 were also blamed on "the gays" by prominent Christian leaders... but here we have a more direct link, I'd think ...
Keeps going lower and lower… Wow. This seems like banning material for me. Just terrible take after take.
Where is Trump in all this? Shouldn't he be down there like any good president? Or is he playing golf and selling meme coins today?
What exactly does this have to do with the flooding? Perhaps you should create a separate thread for bashing Christians or whatever other groups you might hate.
Exactly. The cabin that the girls were staying in was at the highest point in the camp. That cabin and another cabin were evacuated last. They got some 700+ girls to safety, but the owner tried to evacuate the last of them via his truck. It got swept away and that was that. Just freaking awful reading that texags thread.
We should be praying for the families of the dead and missing….. as well as those folks searching and recovering the missing.
I read on the AG board that they moved the older kids, who were already on higher ground, first… Then went to get the little kids who were apparently right next to the river on lower ground, but didn’t get all of them in time… terrible plan if true.
I apologize that I’m missing how your response has anything to do with my post. My point is in a crisis pointing a finger to blame someone is counter productive, but both sides do it. My links show bad actors are hiding behind Christianity to make false accusations.
