You really think there isn't a Christian group to blame? It took like 1 minute to find the flood maps for that area... that area has a history of floods ... campers died a near by camp from flooding ... their photos show a cabin hanging over the river escarpment seemingly held up by 2x4s ... who's fault is it?

So wrong. They knew and warned people too. People just didn't heed the warnings.

Just had a brilliant idea....ICE should buy this camp to house illegals.

Its the fault of a lot of people. Inspectors, camp owners, county officials...etc. Their faith has nothing to do with it.

If a minority ran the camp, would you say "Disgusting display by (specific minority) people...great job (specific minority!)" ?

Of course not You are just using a tragedy to impune a huge group of people and its gross.

Period. This isnt a red tragedy or a blue one. This isnt the fault of "christians". This is a 100 year camp that probably should have had its layout changed by municipal ordinance long ago, but regardless that is for them to sort out.

I just cant fathom what the parents are dealing with. I've sent all of my kids to summer camps and you never dream of anything worse than a bee sting or some poison ivy.

It's called intolerance. Use that word because they know it, even though they generally use it wrong.

    Bottom of a pint glass
It was a Christian camp that was hit by a flood, and I've seen a ton of folks praying that the remaining missing girls are found safe. Was the flood created by God? Did he decide to spare some kids but no others? Is the prayer going to have him decide to spare some lost kids?

I know this comes across as an attack on Christianity, but it could be any religion. I'll just personally and honestly never understand how this all gets reconciled in someone's mind, other than saying "God works in mysterious ways" and "he has a plan."

Are you kidding? You really think if a group of Muslims or Mexicans killed a bunch of kids by doing something arrogant and stupid, you wouldn't hear people blaming them? What America do you live in? You just want immunity from blame for your people for being part of the majority.

It seems like he/she met a loud mouth Christian, rubbed him/her the wrong way and now projects an intolerance to millions because of that experience.

I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think it’s plausible for those kids to be found alive now (unless they somehow way far downstream)

Sorry under most circumstances my post would be gross but after reading the nastiness from the left on page 1 of this thread I thought it only fair to toss one their way.

It just exemplifies Christian indifference to killing people and makes my point perfectly. Thanks. Too bad these were not embryos, then they probably would have found a reason to arrest someone for this in Texas.

The days of the right politicizing tragedies and the left not responding are over. Being offended by this being politicized is just hypocritical pearl clutching.
This is an awful tragedy, but I’m not politicizing it just for poops and giggles. I don’t want this to happen again. So there needs to be answers from local state and national level to certain questions (eg was camp built in acceptable spot, should camp have been evacuated, why was forecast inaccurate, etc). When my daughter is old enough and I send her to blue ridge mountains I want there to be plan in place to avoid a flood tragedy.
And like I said earlier the faith of the camp has no role.

So why exactly did you politicize in the first place since it was you that started this thread?

Everything else gets blamed on Biden. Where did I say any of this was Trump's fault? Hint: I didnt.
