Thank goodness my current dog isn't afraid of loud noises. I had a few dogs that I had to sedate on days with fireworks. I did have one dog that was half black lab that got excited with fireworks thinking I think "Where's the duck?"
We’ve got an adopted border collie that we have to sedate for the 4th or long lasting thunderstorms so I understand.
We Americans too often take our freedom and prosperity for granted. God has blessed us big time, but I fear for my grandkids' future. USA, USA, USA - Now that is a chant I can get into!
Despite disagreements I don't think we appreciate how fortunate we are to have grown up here and not in a place where making it to the next meal is a legit question. Only minor related if anything (apologize if inappropriate for the board if so mods please delete) but a world class soccer player lost his life at 28 in a car crash a few days, had just gotten married among other things.
