At the risk of being optimistic, it's not over for any player we "lost". Need a good season though, no doubt.

 

Napier "vis a vie" the draw and power of UF, proved that the Gators, when they show a little life, can bring "recruits committed elsewhere", back to UF
when it's early signing day. If Napier can squeeze into the playoffs I imagine we will see more 5 star guys throwing Gator caps on.

 

CBN has great relationships with recruits, so it is more about getting boosters excited to pay those 5 * recruits. We likely have some deep pockets who never will buy into NIL.

 

I do not know how it works behind the scenes but can imagine there are some big money people who have said they will add some sway dollars to the pot if we have a good season.

 

It would certainly be interesting to watch the bag accounts as the winning started at end of last year. Id bet the recruiting graph and money graph looked very similar.

Yes Die, I have committed to the exorbitant sum of $50.00 should UF 1) Win the SEC Championship and 2) Are given a playoff berth.
Now before you scoff, you must realize how "exorbitant" is defined by the provider.

Sure, in terms of T Boone Pickett, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates that is insignificant, but for Gatorhead, that is a real and substantial % of disposable income directed towards Gator Sports. I mean I would be sacrificing a 1/5th of Makers Mark and a pack of Camels for such a sacrifice.
