If only the CBO had your expertise in evaluating budget impacts of legislation . . . Did you think that CBO stood for "Crooked Budget Officers", or are they just a group of people sitting around playing cards and making up numbers while they smoke cigars and laugh at the American people?
To be honest, you're probably describing Trump, Vance, and much of their Administration. "We got $280 mill from Elon, our only inflation plan was drilling more oil, we said that immigrants were eating dogs ...... and they STILL voted for us!!"
As I mentioned in the other thread, I don't think American consumers who will be paying higher prices for products manufactured in Vietnam thanks to Trump's tariffs will consider the result of the Trump's agreement an example of winning.
More winning. The private sector is officially shrinking. Hiring is down, employment is down. Looks like we may finally be headed for that recession that we've always wanted. This should make Trump even more popular. On the plus side (for Trump), this recession should give him the rate cuts he's wanted. ADP says the private sector is shrinking. That's bad news for the job market—but possibly great news for Trump
He’s definitely the b word. The whole GOP is scared to death of an obese grandpa with awful makeup. What a time to be alive.
LOL. That dipchit thinks that Viet Nam is going to be buying US made SUVs. (He's opened up the great consumer market of Viet Nam to US goods. ) Also; In 2024, Vietnam's per capita income is estimated to be $4,536 USD. This figure is based on the GDP per capita, which measures the total economic output of a country divided by its population, according to FocusEconomics and World Economics.
We could easily sell upwards of 50 products a year to Vietnam! Let's see . . . 99% of their people are living in moderate to severe poverty (growing rice and vegetables or working in factories) and cannot afford anything made in the U.S.A. But the company owners and politicians have some money, so we should be able to sell 1/100,000th of what they sell to us. Excellent work by our reality show clown president. If he keeps this up, he should be able to sell a thousand American-made cars overseas by Christmas. A THOUSAND, I say!
Republicans in Congress are highly offended at Trump's pro-Russian, anti-Ukrainian policies, but for some reason are blaming the Pentagon for Trump's policies. If they had any balls, they would hold up Trump's Big Bastard of a Bill until he supplies Ukraine with a significant amount of modern weapons. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/07/02/ukraine-aid-freeze-republican-response-00437299
More winning--it looks like the dems are projected to take the House and possibly the Senate in 2026. Trump's first defector is N.C. Senator Thom Tillis, who would rather spend time with his family than argue with a republican con-man as president. Wall Street Journal Warns Trump May Have Just Sabotaged His Own Presidency
