Manning is a perfect example. He will either take them to the final four or they will replace them with another five star quarterback and roll the dice again.
i dont. They will just get processed/pushed out and they’ll just recruit the next 5* or get the best players out of the portal
My good friend owns a company and is always looking to reduce his taxable income. Through his company and NIL, he gives $40k/year to two TE's on UGA's roster every year. He does not care if they work out or not. He feels like it's his job to help recruit/retain the best TE's that will give them a chance to win. I know two Bullgators too. They do not care. They just want to accumulate as much talent as possible and let the coaches push out the ones they don't want. I don't think this is a backfire moment. This is the strategy.
All money aside, its still a dog eat dog world where results arent debatable. Guys that never develop or dont have the work ethic are just the cost of doing business.
I do like our chances as they have worked hard on this package, however never count out Texas money. We will see soon enough.
This is true to a point. This Booster has ostracized himself. Gators are distancing themselves from his remarks. Also If we want to spend right now, we need interior lineman more. It seems we switched our strategy. Me personally, I don't want the headache of someone who plays for a better price. I know that could be in the minority, but I miss the college spirit.
DTs Joseph Mbatchou/Jeremiah McCloud and NTs Jamir Perez/Kedall Guervil is a very good DL recruiting base for the last two cycles.
I would almost guarantee that if Robinson would come back next year for starter after playing a big role at UNC, we would welcome him back with open arms. Except that we have to expect Perez' announcement will be to flip to OSU,but he would be a perfect fit with Guervil and Sone for 3 DT.
