musk may not have the stomach or gravitas for politics but I wouldn’t count him out. Good time to buy some TSLA

 

Musk did “buy” Trump the Presidency, at least if you ask him. He certainly bought himself access to the White House, direct downloads of govt data (it was essentially the largest data breach in history, i guess nobody calls it a “breach” if you just hand it over), and who knows what else. But with Trump loyalty is a one way street. Trump has left many of his own sycophant supporters lives in complete ruins. Broke, disbarred, facing civil suits, etc. The difference is none of those people like Lindell or Giuliani brought $300m to the table or had $500 Billion buffer like Musk. So it mostly just depends on how “all-in” Musk goes. It’s weird to see play out because most of us thought all this was inevitable. There was even a joke thread on here, something like “o/u until the divorce”.

Obviously Musk is under the impression he can “buy elections”. He claims to have been worth several Senate seats, and threatening to finance a 3rd party. I think alot of people would love to see a saner 3rd party emerge, unfortunately not done in “that way” (bought and paid for politicians vs a more organic movement). With Musks post-Trump taint it’s hard to see any serious person wanting in… so it would probably bring us something like… Senate candidate big-ballz.
