Iranian cleric issues Fatwa against Trump and Netanyahu

Do you think Trump makes another bombing run because of this? Ordinarily, I’d think this is a big nothing-burger. But Trump has such a fragile ego that he might actually act upon it.

 

Is that like a giant sized Wawa store?

 

You knew the fatwa was coming. Was just a matter of when.

 

I’m surprised it was issued . Trump made a very public statement of him purportedly showing restraint against bombing the Ahatollah, even though he allegedly knew exactly where he was located, and even though he has stated Iran tried to assassinate him. With all of that, I was surprised they put their religious “hit” against Trump. I don’t expect Trump to sit back and yawn.

 

My impression is that they already put out a hit on Trump over the assassination of Qasem Soleimani back in 2020. The fatwa just added a religious element to what Iran already was trying to accomplish.

You know how easy it is to get a fatwa? You can just write a book. Or be Larry David in a episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

 

No, not necessary for the US to do the attacks or the bombing.

Trump is more likely to turn loose Netanyahu to finish off the regime after he told Netanyahu to turn back the planes in the final attack Israel had planned.

It isn't Trump's "fragile ego" that you should be concerned about. It is a theocratic Iranian regime that is tyrannical and will never allow peace to break out in the middle east. JMHO, killing millions of their own people would be on their agenda if that's what it took to remain in power.

This Iranian regime must go, would have been gone already if left up to Netanyahu.

A fatwa comes with the territory. Lack of a fatwa would have essentially been an affront to all of the previous fatwas.

 

If you’re not issuing fatwas, you’re not trying.

 

Trumps fatwa won’t be announced……….it will happen as a surprise.
