    What is the max currently? We played 31 games this season prior to the SECT and NCAAT.

    Good news for you. The change does not go into effect until the 2026–2027 season.

    Not a fan of this decision. Regular season already lasts a little long for my preference. But I suppose decisions like this, and expanding the tournament field, are inevitable when the pretense of “student-“ athlete has been abandoned.

    I think the idea is to allow for 16 team tournaments to be played prior to the conference schedules.
