I support funding almost all of those things…it is a conundrum of design by the left that it has to be bundled with an organization whose primary business is infanticide.

The argument here is not too dissimilar to arguing that we need to send humanitarian aid to the Iranian holocaust regime because the humanitarian aid does some good social justice things.

Or let’s send money to Putin because Putin does more than just kill Ukrainians.

Or let’s send money to Ted Bundy because Ted Bundy does more than just kill women.

 

If we want to fund condom distribution, then create a condom distribution organization that doesn’t also commit infanticide. Simple solution.

You see this is much like Iran. When you fund Iran in any way it allows Iran to adjust their accounting and free up additional funds that can be shifted over to their terrorism apparatus.

It is the same exact issue with Planned Parenthood.

 

Why not distribute condoms through the vast retail network the already distributes condoms?

I'll prove it to you, I doubt that you would be willing to support the Minnesota shooter who was killing Pro-Choice politicians even though you are trying to claim that they are Nazis engaged in a Holocaust. You would say something like it is morally wrong to murder. But you also won't condemn groups like the French Resistance in World War II for killing Nazis.

For the most part I like Vance, but he is wrong on that statement. Trump is not comparable to Hitler, since Hitler was a mass murderer, which Trump is not. Comparing Trump to Hitler is like comparing someone who is not a serial killer or a murderer to Ted Bundy for some other reason. It is a bad comparison. It is not a helpful, and critiques can be made of Trump without resorting to awful comparisons like that. The Nixon comparison is not as bad since Nixon compromised on abortion, but it also has some issues IMO since it assumes a certain narrative about the events on January 6th. Now if you want to make a comparison to Slick Willy, then I could get on board with that comparison. There are interesting parallels between Slick Willy and DJT.
