I wonder what the number of people leaving and taking their money and income to Florida will be?

Please don't... California Dems ruined Colorado and Austin, Texas. We don't need that Liberal infestation coming to Florida.

The democratic party as we have known it in the past is on life support. It's time to remove the life support so the party can have a dignified death.

Moving into replace the democratic party is the Communist Party of the USA. Sad, but true. They stand no chance to win national elections, but that is not a problem. The far-left takeover started in 2015. They don't care if they are not competitive in the near future. My guess is they are hoping to compete nationally by the mid 2030s.

Shrug, time will tell. I'm so pleased to support MAGA. I wouldn't want to be on the far-left side of politics.

I really hope they do this. Would be a nice bow on what MAGA represents for the world to see.

It should be obvious by now that the strategy of the Republicans and their friends at Fox News and other outlets in the right-wing mediasphere is to make Mamdani the poster boy of the Democratic Party. First, there is no guarantee that he will even win the general election although he is the favorite and secondly, he is not the only high profile Democrat who is running for election this November. There are two moderate women with national security credentiasl running for governor in their respective states, Abigail Spanberger a former US Representative and CIA operations officer with expertise in nuclear proliferation and terrorism and Mikie Sherrill a former Navy helicopter pilot and Assistant US Attorney. Both are favored to win their elections and let's not forget 2026 when Josh Shapiro and Wes Moore will be running for reelection.

Just as MSNBC and Democrats would be making Gaetz the face of the Republican Party if he won the primary for one of the highest profile elections this fall.

I do agree there is no guarantee he will win in the fall. NY Republicans are already trying to see if they can get the Republican Candidate a position in the Trump Admin to get him out of the race. But even if that happens, Eric Adams is still a problematic candidate to bet on. All eyes are going to be on this race because it will be like watching a train wreck happen in slow motion.

It doesn't matter about the other two races at this point. VA is a blue-ish state and Spanberger is an good fit for the state. If she moderates on her gun positions in the general, she should win in a walk. NJ did not go red in '21 despite being close. It will be a snoozer this year.

Haven't followed this race closely but seems that maybe anti-Muslim memes are back in vogue. His faith doesn't bother me so long as he's not trying to mandate Islamic texts in public schools.

I kind of think cons are playing with fire a bit on this one. A young candidate that speaks to working class people? I mean, rich dems don’t like this guy. He won with a very left message to working people and a big grass roots campaign.
