No bringing him home was for political purposes. Pulling up records on what he should have been sent home for 3 or 4 years ago is what they are doing now you might say to fight the political move since had the court not been playing politics he would still be out of the country.

 

Why in the world are you making this guy an issue in a thread about missing and rescued kids?

 

I’d start by saying that refusing to believe inconvenient facts is not a trait exclusive to the left. It is universal.

As for your specific points, I am unfamiliar with any of these efforts, so I can’t really confirm or rebut your claims. Government action almost invariably has unintended consequences, so seeing efforts to speed up reuniting children with their parents leading to other problems wouldn’t be too surprising. Though I would say that there are motivations other than optics to want to kids out of detention centers, namely not having kids have to suffer in detention centers. There is never going to be a perfect government solution to a problem like this.

And lastly, I did not vote for Kamala or really believe in the Biden admin. But that doesn’t mean I think either is evil or indifferent to child sex trafficking.
