President Trump should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize: 1. Negotiated the end of hostilities between India and Pakistan. Pakistan has nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. 2. Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo will sign a peace treaty to end their war at the White House at the end of the week. Trump didn't cut the South African President any slack and I hope he follows this treaty up with ending the persecution of Christians in both countries. Trump is going to NATO on Tuesday. One of his meetings will likely be with Ukraine President Zelensky. Putin last week signaled that he is ready for talks with Ukraine including meeting with Zelensky. If this war is ended with Trump's involvement, that would be the trifecta of peace achievement. President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize X multiple achievements.
Why stop at Peace Prizes? He should also win the Nobel prize for Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and maybe even Literature. He's truly an incredible example of what humanity can accomplish
If you don't vote for Trump to get the Peace Prize, he'll invade you or bomb you. Seriously. And he expects really nice gifts, like $400 million airplanes. If he doesn't get really nice gifts, he might think about invading or bombing you. And then he will put the tariffs on you. So be careful.
I just came from Congo. Some stats — How many Christians in Congo? 100.6 million (or 95.2% of the total population) In Eastern Congo, there’s a particular rebel group that is as (if not more) obsessed with corruption of resources as it is with religion. Of the 95% of the population that identifies as Christian, I’d imagine less than 5% suffer the persecution you’re talking about and those are almost exclusively in the East, where rebel groups operate with little oversight in hard to reach places amidst rampant corruption (though of course your argument framed this as Trump having to save the whole of Christianity in the DRC as though the Congolese government/people are anti-Christian and need Trump to save them… which is real rich considering the history of Christianity in the Congo as brought by the absolutely BRUTAL Belgian colonizers). This negotiated “peace” between the two countries comes down to favorable rare earth mineral contracts between the US both countries. We’ll see how that goes, but such deals have tended to be exploitative to the actual people of Congo, a place RICH in resources yet who’s people are some of the most impoverished (especially Eastern Congo). I’ll say this — if you want to bring tech manufacturing back to the US, leveraging the Congo and India through supposed soft power wouldn’t be a terrible strategy. Time will tell, but you’ve gotta dial your rhetoric about dear leader WAY back
