Pfft… you guys were praising him for saying he’d them two weeks, now you are praising him for dropping bomb anyway…. The key take away is you guys would praise him for anything and everything he does and says… you’d praise him for how good his farts smell. Want another example of Trump lies…. He said the ceasefire would bring peace to the Middle East FOREVER…. Both sides appear to be violating it already…

This is very true, and definitely a problem. Before I celebrate victory with a game of 2-way beach football or a flight in my P-51 Mustang, I'm going to want confirmation from a trustworthy and credible source.

So I'm not going to be 100% convinced until I also hear from someone trustworthy like Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Benyamin Netanyahu, JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Marco Rubio, .....

..... oh forget it. We'll know in 3.5 years, maybe, and will hear an assortment of lies in the meantime. Some of them may randomly turn out to be true. Hopefully the good ones.

If you truly believe such construction intelligence, explosive data, and strike footage does not exist to analyze, then you might be correct. But the guy who just started a job where he has to leave his phone and smartwatch in his car does not think that will be a likely outcome. We will see.

A word of caution, though, about buying-in early on the narrative you prefer over the one the facts seem to support. Eventually, the truth comes out, and one just looks sillier and sillier as they dig deeper to stay with the story they prefer.

If 9/11 Truthism is still too raw, let’s go with the Rosenbergs. The left wing narrative for years after their execution for treason was that they were framed for antisemitism and “red scare.” Then some of the evidence became declassified in the 70s, but that, too, was “manufactured” and Klaus Fuchs’ testimony was gotten under duress, etc. Movies about Roy Cohn had him being tortured by the ghost of Ethel Rosenberg as he was dying of AIDS because he knew he sent an innocent woman to the chair. Then we got the actual information from the other side after the fall of the Soviet Union. And it was all true. They were guilty as can be. No excuses.

So, again, I have not been read in on this mission. Don’t know anything you don’t. I’ll wait and see just like you. But the indicators to me presently are that they got what they went after based on the best information available.

That's a challenging opponent. Certainly you can see why people would be hesitant to believe.

Still skeptical about the bombing itself, but on the ceasefire topic of this thread… unfortunately no, we all didn’t get what we were after. If we are to stipulate that Israeli intelligence is superior, their desire to continue would indicate Iran is far from defeated and there is much more at stake than we know.

edit: after visiting “open source intel”, the narrative is that this is all performative to give some spread on Iranian lack of command and control and Israel response. Another “wait and see”.
