SCOTUS says Trump can send illegals to countries other than their country of origin

Mind boggling, the things some people consider a "victory."

 

Hard to imagine why anyone would disagree with this:

District Court Judge Brian Murphy, a Biden appointee, wrote in his original order that plaintiffs “are simply asking to be told they are going to be deported to a new country before they are taken to such a country, and be given an opportunity to explain why such a deportation will likely result in their persecution, torture, and/or death.”​

“This small modicum of process is mandated by the Constitution of the United States,” the judge wrote.​

 

Indeed.

 

Yeah, like sovereignty is really that important.

 

Are they being sent to a 3rd party country as a way of defeating the asylum scam/loophole from their home country.

 

Not only to any country who will take the illegals, the illegals don't have a right to a hearing. They came here illegally and unvetted and the Trump Administration does not have to allow them due process before removal. This will tremendously speed up the process of deporting the illegal aliens The Biden Office of the Presidency Administration waived in with no vetting.

 

Probably an unintended consequence, but the illegals get the benefit of not having to go back to their home country.

 

Although the decision isn't final assuming that it will be history will look upon the Supreme Court decision the same way that history looks upon the FDR's Supreme Court victory in Korematsu v. United States upholding his decision to send Japanese Americans to internment camps.

 

A "benefit" of being deported to a country in which they do not speak the language or are familiar with the culture, South Sudan coming immediately to mind.

 

Indeed. There's no shortage of historical parallels.

This being only a small piece of the Trump Administration's criminality, lack of humanity, and disgraceful disregard for our Constitution ...... in the sum of it, I almost feel as if we're watching people gleefully cheer for Plessy v. Ferguson, or Brown v. Board of Education had been ruled opposite of how it was.

History will not reflect well on this and them.

 

Whatever country will take them. The illegal aliens should have thought about this before accepting the democrat's invitation to storm the American border.

Don't think we on the right don't know that democrats want to count illegals in the next census to get more seats in congress. That democrat plan will be obliterated too.

Another benefit is being shipped into a country (probably) 7,500 miles from their original country, separated by an ocean, and in which a civil war and ethnic violence is happening.
