UF hosted Grill in the Ville. The immediate reaction is it went really well for the 2027 class. Tramond Collins commits as you all know but I expect a few more in the near future. A few names to mention include DL Sanana Harvey#33 ranked, Deven Robertson 6'3 304. A name to watch is Tranard Roberts, 5'11 195 IMG via Williston. He has been on campus a lot. Roberts is #6 composite RB for the 27 class. Elijah Haven 6'4 205 # 1 rated QB in 27 visited UF but I don't believe he was here for the cookout. The QB had a good visit and UF got its foot in the door. Haven is out of Louisiana Cederian Morgan will announce 7-02. I believe its a Bama/UF battle. Morgan is close with UF commit Marquez Daniel. Edit #1 Trenton Henderson to announce on 7-02 between UF and Texass and lsu. I like the good guys. Edit #2 Heze Kent will announce 7-12. I like UF here. Edit #3 DQ Forkpa to announce this week. DQ is at IGM, 4* LB. UF is the favorite IMO. Edit #4 Walter Clayton invited to the NBA Draft. I'm guessing the Heat round 1. Watch Boston to see if they trade up. Edit#5 Auburn has 5 commits now after losing three highly ranked player to other teams. They sit at #87 with four 3* commits. Harvey is a Florida player, so I like him. Deven Robertson looks gooood. Are we still in play for James Johnson out of miami or ? Any idea if we have made contact with Tico Crittendon the fsu commit?
Looked up georgia's last draft. Had a first round DE, after that a fifth round DE, sixth round DT. So they can't be selling JJ on development. He would be first DT this cycle. Total of 6 HS DTs 23, 24, 25 so maybe they are selling PT, and have a much more generous NIL deal. I dunno.
Not if we get Carey, Guervil and another of the many quality edge that are out there this year. Using the money to get DT makes more sense after how some have gotten away from us.
