We’ve had some discussion on the current recruits for track and field, but there have been some more recent additions (and subtractions). I thought we could start a running list.
1.Judy Chepkoech transfer from Arizona State 800 meters- through 6K
    2. Temoso Masikane excellent LJ and TJ specialist from South Africa
    3. We were in line for Jarno Van Daalen to join his sister at UF, but I’m unsure of his current status.

Sam Austin 400 m -800 m to Iowa State on the subtraction side

Jarno along with a bunch of others have already signed, for some reason the track program doesnt put out signings in timely manners.
Ternoso is a 26 ft long jumper very good get. We had to fight off a lot of teams including every team in the top 4 this year to sign him.
Jarno is the best thrower under 20 in the world right now.
Jayden Horton Mims the top 400 meter time HS in the country this year, even faster then Quincy
today the New Balance Championships are going and 3 of our guys are in the 200 final. Jake Odey, Jesse Myers and Jneil Harris and they all ran under 21 to make it. Jesse I think will end up a 400 guy. Jake Odey is a Jr, but from England and hear he is trying to get on campus this year . Maybe Jan
Daniel Wright the top 400 meter hurdle guy from Jamaica this go round..right around 51 seconds..should help provide depth with Nillson.
The mens group is loaded, trying to add some more pieces, if Wanya comes back that would be icing on the cake. Also Luke the HJ and LJ..

The women..Aleesa, probably the top or 2nd best hurdler in the country before she got hurt. Also a very good 100 meter runner and relay. Tyra best 400 meter runner in the country, Sidney Sutton went 56.04 in the 400 hurdles yesterday to come in 2nd but it is only the 2nd time she has ever run it. Also runs a 22.7 200 and sub 53 400...tall and when she puts some muscle on her she is going to be hell out there. Clair Stegall top 10 recruit overall..800 up. Gabby Pierre a 44 ft TJ..
Maia Campbell and Mariana Wright, both 300 hurdle runners, that is what they do in GA..and mid 53s 400 runners. Have heard coaches think they can push 51 or so in the 400 with proper training and give us the depth we need to get a 4x4 team together. We have pushed more for individual stars the last 4 or 5 years to win events, now seem to be pushing to build better depth. Forgot Payton Page came in 3rd in the 100, ran her best time ever at the meet going 11.39 which would have made the NCAA meet easily.

Hope this helps anyone who wanted to know more about track team..also the portal is just getting started

Sam never lived up to expectations, would run great in opening rounds but never really put it together in finals

Sutton just ran a 51.23 in the open 400 but came in 2nd behind this phenom from NJ who ran a 51.15 as a Jr and 55.59 in the 400 H..little white chick name Natalie Dumas..Sutton and Cox ended up not running the finals due to the weather and not wanting injuries. They got her name on someone elses info. Sutton is so tall and she kind of loses form when she pushes herself. If she can keep form she will be even faster. If yall want to look at those races just check on youtube I am sure they will snip them down in a few days. But two great races today by those two young ladies competing against each other

Love the info, is it wrong though that I laughed for about 5 minutes over the “little white chick” line?

45.58 on a rainy, absolutely soaked track is outstanding.
