To address (again) your ongoing questions . . . I grew-up Catholic but my dad's two business partners, starting when I was 10, were Jewish brothers, one a rabbi. I grew-up with their kids and spent time at the Jewish Community Center, not just once playing tennis, like you. Given your claims about your second best friend, you should know that not all Jewish people, just like not all Christian people, or not all Muslim people, think the same . . . as automatons. There is civil unrest inside Israel because they don't all agree. A huge chunk doesn't agree. So lumping ALL Israelis and promoting a Tweet that "educated the world" on the "sickness that is the Israeli people" is nothing but anti-semitic and inconsistent with your claims. I can guarantee none of the Jewish mothers and fathers and children I grew up around would agree the Israeli people are any sort of "sickness," nor do I. I see your point. I wasn't promoting the X post. I simply wanted posters to hear what Gideon Levy had to say in the video linked to the X post. I'm familiar with Levy. Levy writes columns that appear in Haaretz. He is very well known in Israel and 3-4 years ago he received a prestigious Israeli journalism award (Sokolow award). He also received a journalism award from a Scandinavian country, the Palme prize. In the video Levy specifically stated that he is referring to "most, not all" Israelis. He thinks it's very unusual that the Occupiers (Jews) are presenting themselves as Victims of the people being occupied. The sickness Gideon Levy referred to was that many or most Jews in Israel have dehumanized Palestinians. That makes the ethnic cleansing more palatanle. Obviously no one thinks all Jews think the same and are "automatons." I've specifically pointed out that my Jewish friend Arnaud de Borchgrave was called an antisemite by the very Jewish (I would say Zionist) Paul Mirengoff at Power Line. Mirengoff eventually left Power Line. Their readership grew to dislike him.
