I'm hopeful but it's a complete wild card with whatever they did for early season prep for 2024 (what the heck was that against Miami amd TA&M) and Napier's scheme and play calling in 2024. Those last 2 games were wins but they looked.pretty underwhelming on offense for too long to start against inferior teams So they've figured out a lot and go 8-4 against that schedule....keep it going in the right direction.

I watched a Gator fan do honest analysis of the upcoming season, and I thought it was a fair summary of potential Gator wins and losses. The record was not much better than what Vegas is projecting. I will resist discussing what the record might be, because I believe the difference maker is DJ. No one knows if he will stay healthy, and if he will make appreciable performance gains on the field. I will not be surprised if there will be incredible wins as well as disappointing losses. I hope the Gators stun the sports world, but, realistically, I am not joining the CFP hype train!

We will do well to win eight games. We dont have a crap schedule and thats about 500 against legit teams. Sure we may surprise and win a game or two more.

Beating a dead horse...again...but it all comes down to what will Lagway do and what will Napier do to assist/encourage or be too analytical and bloated on coaching and attention to details that don't win the game of the moment.

We shall see, but it won't hurt my feelings if he turns out to be this year's version of Golden but in football.

I understand, but once Roberts was the person in total charge of the defense, things lined out really well. About the biggest concern I have is injuries on the D-line, D tackles especially. But that means we can lose the TOP in tough games by the other team running it between the tackles. The solution? Do the same on offense as well as score TDs instead of FGs. THAT is why it is all on Lagway and Napier.

I am jazzed by what could be this fall. I agree that much of what will happen comes down to DJ. With that said, the snafu's need to greatly diminish! The football team and coaching staff needs to eliminate bone-headed plays that gives opponents points. Additionally, the offense, defense, and special teams needs to play at a similar level as the latter part of the 2024 season. The defense and special teams played at an incredible level in the second half of 2024. The offense also played at a decent level. If the Gators play more mistake free and the offense is firing on all cylinders, LOOK OUT!!!
