Same old thing continues to exist—with two strikes the UCLA hitter took a pitch bout half way between his knees and shoe tops. Ol’blue rung him up for strike three lking. Doesn’t matter who you play for—don’t leave strike three in the hands of the umpire.

 

Like I tell my kids when they say that wasn’t a strike… well what about the other 2 you watched…

 

Well, the Bruins had their chances but couldn't get it done. Final score 9-5.

UCLA vs. Arkansas tonight - that should be a great game!

 

Yep, and at 2:00pm Louisville plays Oregon St.

 

Which should be another good game!

It’s actually a 2:45pm start. And I don’t know why they decide this, but it’s a day game and Louisville is wearing all black.

I’m sorry black is just NOT a baseball color.

I only caught the 9th. Hogs beat UCLA, but an ugly 9th giving up 3. Final 7-3. Gonna have to play a lot better to beat LSU .

 

Yea, they seemed to be having a good time in the dugout in the 9th for a team going home. Weird.

I think after almost 9 straight scoreless innings they were just happy to get at least 1 run in to prevent getting skunked! Then Bacon Bits kept making errors allowing them to score even more....lol. Hell yeah - under the circumstance, I would get a laugh out of that.......

I am too......but maybe you wouldn't know it! If I root for a California team it's usually the Bears anyway. I was a big USC fan in Jr. High. Then we moved to Florida and everything changed. This was back in 1970.
