We had locals telling us the next day how glad they were we won because the bucknuts were so obnoxious.
I think fsu has the worst fans, followed by Uga and Miami in a tie. Next up are the other state schools like Ucf and Usf. Ohio State was fine compared to fsu. The last time I went to the fsu game in Talley, my wife and I were followed by 3 fsu guys to my car, which was too far from stadium to be near lots of other folks. After cursing us (we won) all the way to my car, they then got a bit too close verbally. I opened the car door for my wife and announced I was getting by .357 and was going have give it answer for me. They ran. I had no gun.
And then we beat them in basketball too completing the trifecta Back to Back to Back (Basketball '06 - Football '06 - Basketball '07)! This Albert mutilation was before they really hated us! LOL!
Didn't just beat them, we embarassed them. They had a total of 84 yards of offense that night. That was the first time I truly got plastered before the game cause I didn't think we were able to keep up with them. We kept up with them!
The hotel we were staying at was loaded with bucknuts and I enjoyed going down to breakfast the next morning, decked out in Gator gear and my laptop where I logged into GC, so every oh ho ho state fan that meandered by saw me reading about the game
