    Countless IEDs (not all of them) that killed and maimed Americans in the Gulf wars were made by Iran. Iran has been killing American and our friends for decades all over the Middle East. Iran was never going to get a nuke and hold the U.S. and the entire Middle East hostage.

    Those people have NO clue...

    Exactly the guy to get the message across about why Iran is good on a UF message board.

    I was in San Diego several years ago and visited the USS Midway which is set up as a museum there in SD. Some of the info provided as various points on the self guided tour was that it's last mission was the first Gulf War. I commented to my friends that they sent it there as it was scheduled to be retired so if they lost it, it wouldn't have a significant impact on the Navy. It seems like you can make the same observation about the Nimitz in this situation.

    IDF: We eliminated Iran's new Chief of Staff overnight

    Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck a manned headquarters in the heart of Tehran during the night, eliminating Ali Shadmani, the Chief of Staff and closest confidant to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Shadmani served as the war Chief of Staff and commander of the armed forces' emergency headquarters. Shadmani commanded both the Revolutionary Guards and the Iranian army. He was appointed at the beginning of the operation to command Iran's armed forces after his predecessor, Alam Ali Rashid, was eliminated in the opening strike of Operation 'Like a Lion.' Before his predecessor's elimination, Shadmani served as the deputy commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya emergency headquarters and as head of the operations division of the armed forces' general staff.    ​
