Trump (or the promoters of the phone) claim that it will be made in the US. My guess is that if the phone is actually made in the US at all it will probably be made from components sourced from outside the US maybe with components sourced from Samsung the largest maker of Android phones or maybe with components sourced from India, Vietnam or even China where Google Android phones are made.

As far as tariffs are concerned, Trump being the decider in chief will undoubtedly decide that his phones including their components are entitled to an exemption from the tariffs.

As far as the emoluments clause is concerned Trump decided that he can opt a long time ago going all the way back to his first administration.

 

I don't get it ..... it's okay for the Biden's to take bribes/payoffs from the Chinese, Ukrainians. etc .... but it's not okay for Trump to hustle money from (ie bilk) his MAGA followers?

I 1000% guarantee it will not be made in the US at those prices quoted. Apple said it would cost something like $2000 to sell US made iPhones, and they likely have massive influence over suppliers. This will definetly be made in Asia, and will either be ripped off IP or some rebranded low level manufacturer equivalent to 5 year old tech. Their service will probably be something like rebranded Cricket Wireless….

 

Unless I missed it Joe Biden and not even Hunter have been engaging in corruption at anywhere near the level of the Donald and his family of grifters. The total of what Hunter made from scamming the Ukrainians and Chinese is less than one tenth of one percent of what the Trumps have made from foreign interests and the grifts from the Donald's gullible supporters in the less than five months that the Donald has been in office.

• The election of an even crazier “Archie Bunker” version of Benedict Trump, whose agenda is all about his personal enrichment and petty personal grievances, who will be even older than Old Joe when his term is up.
• A disgusting verdict by the Supreme Court that states that the are cool with criminal behavior by the executive branch
• A party that has no allegiance to the American people, only loyalty to a corrupt reality tv host.
