Lol, you post deceptive stats much? How is the most recent month of crossings relative to the last few under Biden?

Exactly. Trump's really screwing the pooch. But he doesn't care, he came right out and told us "some industries need those employees."

    :):):):)

    Couldn't make this stuff up.

Where's that guy who says they all have to go because they're illegal? Does he still love Trump more than anything else on this earth? :)

The Bill championed by Senator Lankford would have been a good starting point for all involved that even included funds to finish building a border wall. Unfortunately, Trump sank it and I doubt Republicans will do anything, as it leaves Trump with his preferred ad hoc daily policy, much like the tariffs.

This verse is sandwiched between Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13. Wonder why this one is ignored while the other two carry so much weight in today's society.

This chart shows border apprehensions through the years ending in Feb 2025. It contains only one full month of Trump II. The drop-off clearly starts to happen before Trump takes office again in late January.

There have also been similar dips throughout history. Like when Trump first took office in 2017. But by 2019, we start to see a peak. Why couldn't Trump I maintain his dip during his first term? Couple of reasons including immigrants realizing the crackdown wasn't sustainable and Trump cutting aid to several countries caused more immigrants willing to make the trek to the US. Yes, there were big bumps in 2022 through 2024, but you also see a major COVID dip in 2020, as many immigrants waited before leaving due to the pandemic.

Can Trump maintain the dip we saw in 2017 this time around? Time will tell. But history says it isn't sustainable.

I bet you didn't read the next paragraph of that story, did you? Here is a hint: most of those folks were immigrants too.

Well, for one, "US citizens" aren't people with cards allowing them to legally work in the US. That is..."immigrants." Second, yeah, I am willing to bet large quantities of money that the people speaking Spanish in the waiting room of a meat packing plant interview room aren't primarily from the extensive native-born Spanish speaking community of Nebraska who, for no reason, aren't showing up in public, according to that story. They are primarily...immigrants.

The story also says the plant used and is still using E-verify. But the system is too easy to fool these days.

And I'd you're 18+ years old, live in Nebraska, and don't speak English, chances of being a citizen is very slim. Authorized to work here? Maybe. Maybe not.
