Sorry, don't know where I can post this to get the most eyeballs... https://247sports.com/college/flori...leveland-at--302680/currentexpertpredictions/
Turning into a heck of a weekend for UF recruiting! If this keeps up and throw in what may happen Monday, and UF may be setting very pretty!
Prothro, and any second isn't even close. TE receiving has been the weakest part of the team for CBN's whole tenure.
Not sure why you were awarded a disagree. What would we hope he could do in our offense? My question, can Prothro be convinced our scheme will be better for him(pass catching) than any TE we've had in Napier. Maybe that's not Prothro's goal, don't know, just asking. See Kyle Pitts stats compared to our TE stats last season. Our TEs 2024 season: Hansen 15 200 1 TD Boardingham 18 128 2 Livingston 11 109 2 https://www.espn.com/college-football/team/stats/_/id/57 Kyle Pitts 2020 season: 8 games, 43 for 770 12 TDs. Kyle Pitts College Stats, School, Draft, Gamelog, Splits | College Football at Sports-Reference.com If I were a great pass catching TE, or that's what I wanted to be, UF would be a hard sell for me compared to an offense like georgia's that had Brock whatever unless georgia's offense/OC has changed(don't know).
If he wants to be great, he has to block, just like Bowers did, even though he lined up in different positions. This offense heavily uses 2 TE, but the pass catching TE have not been getting separation. He would fit like a glove if he learns to block and builds muscle.
See Kyle Pitts before Trask started throwing to him. Even some hof qbs dont really utilize the te position. Is Lagway a heavy tightend usage qb? I dont know.
If we knew how many times our TEs run a route it would help me understand how many missed opportunities there were- that a faster better route running TE would have in this offense.
Pitts was never open for Franks but Trask squeezed it in there on the tegular, he wasnt wide open. It takes two.
