Why does the left coddle illegals

It's weird that there are American adults who actually believe this.

Unless by "making them legal" you mean some kind of guest worker program.

Also, "open borders" is just a meaningless catch phrase from the guy who told us that immigrants were eating the dogs and cats. You have to update your talking points before being worthy of debate.

I vote that all people who want to get rid of illegals get out there and do one of the jobs that a typical illegal does: roofing, vegetable picker, or meat packing factory worker. If enough of you last at the job for a long enough time, then the rest of us will change our opinions and agree to kick out the illegals.

While the article didn’t answer the question, just a bunch of gotcha arrests, the answer is quite simple. The left will support any person, argument or issue that is on the side with less power. It’s pretty predictable and the reasons could be anything from contrarianism to empathy to jealousy or a combination of them.

It’s what they do. Crime. At least they are embracing it and not hiding anymore.
