lol....I was going to educate this guy about how I put together my best and feeble shot at creating some idea of who we recruit since there is no other information as there is in football, basketball, baseball and other sports. But I decided against wasting my time on him. I mean, this was his first and only contribution to this board. I don't know what he thinks he knows or even who he is talking about since he didn't say. I can guarantee that neither Shaw nor Bellaire were elite level recruits across the country and were never followed by Tim or Francesca until we struck out on every kid on our 2025 list. They followed them only after they apparently committed (and offered?) two and a half months after recruiting began, and primary recruiting across the country was finished, and we got nobody we really targeted. For both that was on November 13...late in the game for a kid you are targeting. Now, if in fact, one of them was actually offered on Sept.1 or close to that, I can only assume it was some sort of a conditional offer..."You've got a potential offer but it is conditional on if we actually have room somewhere down the road." That one of them had a firm offer at the start of recruiting but looked around for two and a half months to decide what they wanted to do stretches belief far beyond its breaking point or the offer would have elapsed long before that. And I don't believe it since both Tim and Francesca would have shown some interest before that. And, yes, I do actually have a diploma from UF. It is framed and hanging in my house. I have no idea what that has to do with anything even if I am dead wrong on either Shaw or Bellaire.
Reasner from Kentucky (who was the other SS we were alleged to be getting) has committed to Ole Miss. I hope Tim is working overdrive now lol
Serious question for anyone that knows how the board works. That poster deleted his never ending "funny" response to my post, and to others, or an admin or someone did it for him. I couldn't care less about him but I have never figured out how I could delete something like that if I made a "fat finger" mistake. Is that possible and if so, how?

That would be a dream come true - if Toney would leave Texas Tech and come to Florida to play SS or 2b to make room for Mia to play SS or 2b there. I would take that trade!!! Chances of that happening of that are probably nil, but we can always fantasize.
Reagan Jennings, big time hitter and best of the Texas Tech portal players, is going to North Carolina. Peyton Tanner, the Tennessee pitcher, is going to Baylor. Doesn't appear that we were in the running for either player. Pitcher Taylor Pannell, from Missouri, was an early portal entry who is still undecided. On3 shows her 30.8% Texas A&M, 25.9% Texas, 23.1% South Carolina and 19.2% Florida. All have offered her.
Texas Tech, 3rd Baseman, Bailey Lindemuth has entered. 305 BA, 936 FLD, this would be a good pickup for us. She'll have 3 years of eligibility left
Many, many years ago, the Cincinnati Reds traded their highly regarded second baseman, the renowned Tony Helms (who?), for some lightly regarded flash-in-pan Houston infielder named Joe Morgan. If Toney came to UF, I think that would be an apt comparison.
