I talked to a guy who runs a big pop-up nursery every spring and fall in Jacksonville. He also advises others on how to get started. His advice: Hire Mexicans or don't bother.

My defense of him is an honest one.

He doesnt need me to defend him. I do It because It's the right thing to do.

…whether he/she deletes or edits posts proportionally?
I do not care about that at all…although I guess it’s nice to hear.
My thinking is that mods set the tone of the board. They have the power and ability to keep the discussion in the lanes.
I do not think River does a good job in this respect. He comes across just as condescending as many of the rest of the democrats on the board.
I think Tilly and Oklahoma do keep it mostly fair, honest and stimulate discussion.
And, Tilly and OKlahoma don’t always side with the right…which gives you two more credibility.

It makes them more centrist... credibility is hard to find in a politically charged forum. "Credibility" is more biased in nature than most people think... it's in the eye of the beholder. It can often be subjective and not objective.

Why did Trump pardon all of the informants?

 

Most Americans don't have an issue with immigrants. The issue are illegal immigrants, 11 million of them. Let me put that in perspective. The EU's estimates are about half that. The National Institute of Health has a paper discussing this and this is what they say about it:

I bolded the important part. Now before you say it's a Trump admin study, you are absolutely wrong. In fact, this study was done during the Obama administration in 2014. That's 11 years ago so imagine the update to these numbers today. Notice the bolded part about birthers. Even the NIH back in 2014 saw an issue with it because that is leading to even larger numbers of undocumented immigrants which places a massive burden on our health care system.

So, many liberals have proposed just making them all legal or advocating for open borders thinking that would solve our problems. Nope, it would make them far far worse.

There was a poll done back in 2019 that at the time was the largest poll in human history. It asked nearly 2 Billion people outside the US if they would do everything possible to migrate to the US if we had open borders. 158,000,000 said yes and these are individual numbers, if you extrapolate based on families, it's closer to 750,000,000 that would flood to the US. I don't have to go into detail what that would look like. It took 64 years for 12,000,000 to immigrate to the US during the Great Migration. If liberals were to see this, they would change their minds pretty quickly, but notice none of the liberal media outlets ever talk about this.

 

So you're just going to ignore the immigration bills that were proposed when Obama and Biden were in office. I'd like to add that when Obama was in office the bill was partially written by Republicans.
