Y'all continue to prove my point. The power of government is derived from the citizens, not from its sword.

If anyone attends a No Kings march be wary of right wing counter protesters. They are talking about violence and wanting to kill.

“Shoot a couple, the rest will go home,” One disseminated an online gun tutorial, illustrating optimal shooting techniques with the caption: “Riot season again!”

A review of dozens of known far-right social-media accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers across leading platforms like X, Truth Social, and Telegram are posting about the “No Kings” rallies and encouraging their people to respond, in some cases with violence.

What unites them now, she said, is a common enemy: nonwhite immigrants. And Blee, who has worked on the subject for four decades, has never seen far-right beliefs resonate in the mainstream more than today. “It’s by far the worst. It’s scarily the worst. It’s flashing red,” she said. “It’s a very precarious time right now.”

El Salvador. The US outsourced the gulags for the price of $6 million and the release of some MS-13 leaders to a guy working with them. In return, the Trump administration was given access to a prison with no due process, indefinite sentences, and in which the US can incarcerate people found guilty of violating no US law.

Fair post - so, please explain the difference between “power” and “intimidation”?

As Al Capone is reportedly to have said: “a gun and a thank you gets more accomplished than a thank you alone”

Volusia county sheriff’s statement basically said peaceful protest is a constitutional right. Hurt anyone or any property and they will deal with you.

Sure. And posting this in advance would give the state ammo for a capital charge with premeditation.

...or.... you are just internet flexing.

If you can show me a post you made condemning so much money was spent to fill our country with illegals but money was not then available through FEMA for our citizens in NC, I will soften some to your misguided nonsense. We all make mistakes.

There is a surprisingly heavy turnout here in Fairfax (Fair Lakes/Chantilly.) Several hundreds across the street here at a shopping center. They are lined up for blocks with flags and chants and such.
