Russia has falsified that argument through its actions the past 15 years with its persistent imperialistic expansion. They’ve also said that Ukraine is just a stepping stone into Europe and just last week said the Baltics need to leave NATO for there to be peace in Ukraine. How dumb do people espousing this theory think we are?
The whole point of Iran agreeing to that deal was that they would be able to continue developing their nuclear abilities but it would be the next POTUS’ problem. They would have the ability to break out when they decided it was most opportune for them to do so. The Obama Admin and Ben Rhodes specifically were able to sell that deal through the “Echo Chamber” in the press that Rhodes talked about creating. It was a terrible deal but part of the Obama Admin strategy to try and flip the balance of power in the Middle East. I actually had to wrote a paper about it in Command and Staff. The problem with it was you had to believe the Mullahs would actually go along with it and the Gulf Arab states would not change their strategic alliances while it happened.

Since the 90s I have heard that Iran is “weeks”, “months”, and “years” from the bomb. Israel is claiming this time that it is within weeks that Iran would have the bomb. It’s a little bit of; I don’t blame them if that is what their intelligence said and the majority on, I don’t want any other country acquiring nuclear weapons. We have enough unhinged leaders with that power, we don’t need more.

My grandson Colin was a crewman on the USS Carl Vinson up until he injured his back falling down a flight of stairs onboard the ship a couple months back and got discharged. I can't say I am happy about his injury but I can't imagine what I would be thinking right now if he were still onboard that carrier considering it is the only US aircraft carrier in the gulf right now.

1) Israel deliberately attacked the USS Liberty with planes and torpedo boats on June 8, 1967 during the 6 Day War with Arab countries. The Liberty was flying a very large American flag. The insignias on the Israeli planes were covered up, evidently so the attack could be blamed on Egypt. 34 Americans killed, 171 wounded. Israel attacked American sailors in life rafts which is a war crime. Israeli forces only stopped the attack when US forces were sent to help the Liberty. Elon Musk is an arrogant, racist who is loathsome for a number of reasons. However, he is not responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands. This is not even a choice. Elon is loathsome, but not a criminal against humanity.
