Question for the moderator who removed thread privileges

    A question:

    Since when do we prevent posters from posting on a given thread? Am I not allowed to post in response to other's posts?

    Also, if you are going to take an action, at least take responsibility for it and put your name in the message.

    Otherwise it leaves open the possibility that it was made by a partisan mod so their buddies can pile on the existing posts, which is exactly what occurred after the action was taken.

    I noticed the person who I was questioning has deleted their posts also. Did they also get a time out?

    Is that really what we want to encourage - silencing debate on a topic that sees a US senator removed from a press conference when that senator oversees the cabinet member whose press conference in which he was attempting to do his job and provide oversight by asking pertinent questions to?

    Doesn't sound like you broke any actual rules, just some mod didn't like the points you are making...

    I was removed from a thread before a month or so ago. Dont know if the other person I was in a back and forth with was or not, because I couldnt view the thread after that.

    I am not sure what this instance was, but we use thread bans all the time.

    Trust me, a game thread would be unreadable without them. You would be amazed at the number of thread bans we have to give in the 1st quarter because some cupcake scored a FG... Only for Florida to win by 40 :D

    As for the name of the moderator, we generally do that as far as I know, but I have been known to forget.

    Went through that thread and read your posts. Total BS that you were banned from the thread. Bill just didn't like what you were saying so he banned you.
