I assume most are poor which probably also means most are some kind of minority - statistically. But I haven’t watched video so all I can go off of are still pictures. Probably some students sprinkled in.

 

Protests are basically every group. Those that turn violent are likely younger, more male, and poorer, consistent with just about all crime.
