Once again the left cannot help themselves from stepping on rakes. Whether you believe Trump or Newsom and bass, the continual pictures/videos of rioters in masks waiving flags, setting taxis on fire and throwing bricks at cars does not help anyone on the left get elected in a national election. The left has an opportunity to make gains on tariffs, economic uncertainty but here we are with the violence consuming the news . Riot is political loser for the left so by all means keep attacking Trump and keep it up

 

Why does the left always have to be the perfect ones? How about people stop sane-washing Trump and this admin and start calling them out for all the crazy shit they do for once.

So they should embrace authoritarianism and crack down on all protests? That's the only way to prevent the so far isolated incidents of vandalism and violence. Just because the right wing media apparatus is skilled at showing the same images on loop doesn't change reality. Giving into the right wing mob is a very slippery slope for everyone, even if it is unpopular. It's a dangerous mindset to think "I'll give in and act like them just this once but it's for the just cause of getting me elected. Then I'll go back to doing the right thing."

There's no justification for the national guard or military to be involved at this point and the dems should keep shouting that every chance they get.
