32% of eligible voters voted for Trump.

Also you're telling on yourself saying that rounding them up and shipping them off to a prison that is not in their home country without due process in violation of the constitution is "exactly what you wanted".

Militarizing a tense domestic situation is never a good idea. I could maybe buy the national guard if the governor felt it necessary. But the Marines, the guys that hunt our enemies in the Middle East? C'mon. That's just Trump showboating.

Fortunately, they were white and of the correct political affiliation. I guarantee if they'd been brown or black, Trump would have called out the military, live ammunition would have been used, and survivors would have been shipped off to Gitmo with gleeful haste. And all the MAGAns would have cheered, waved their Trump flags, and bloviated at great length about the threat to America herself!! from these domestic terrorists.

I will not "come on Man," Bluke. I honestly believe if the participants of the J6 insurrection had been black or brown, there would have been a much different outcome. With justification. Anyone who took part in that stain on our history should have expected lethal consequences.

“Clear mandate” when he received less than 50% of the vote and the vast majority of incumbents around the globe were unseated coming off the heels of inflation. You’re putting far too much stock into a narrative you want to be true.

I disagree and feel like you’re trying to make an issue about race that isn’t.
Congrats, you are playing directly out of the Democrat play book.

Despite all the intentional optics, diversion of law enforcement to immigration duty, Home Depot raids etc there is a very solid chance that Trump doesn't exceed Obama's highest annual deportation numbers this year. You are dealing with people who think there are 10s of millions of people to round up - criminal gangs taking over cities and such. But there arent, so they have to send ICE to elementary schools to get their numbers, and even picking the low hanging fruit, they likely wont set any records.

I was trying to find where Trumped talked about prosecuting employers and CEO's but maybe it was scrubbed from the internet. Am I missing something?

If they really cared about immigration laws then we'd be locking up business owners

Treatment of J6 rioters--kid gloves and pardons
Treatment of LA protesters--massive force, and I'm guessing no pardons

History speaks for itself. The disparity in response is blatant.

Oh, are the people who voted for a convicted felon for president upset about laws not being enforced again?

You are exactly right…. If Trump would have been successful in stealing the election, and the Muslim Botherhood or BLM had seized the Capitol Building in protest, they would have been slaughtered … Every MAGA apologist knows it….

But CA is not FOLLOWING federal law and is unwilling to support or protect ICE who is trying to enforce federal law. So, would 3000 more ICE agents instead of guard units being deployed make you feel better?

How is raiding a business which is conducting illegal activity and tied to illegal immigrants, trying to meet a quota? Sounds like ICE just doing their job.

Nice try on the deportation rate. We're not even five months into Trump's term and he has deported more illegals than Biden did in all of '21, all of '22 and is about tied right now for all of '23. So why did the Biden administration have a change of heart in '24? Do I really have to spell it out for you? Regardless, Trump has shut the southern border down while making his deportations. Biden just allowed over 10 million more in while making his. Great comparison ...

Funny how they decided to open the doors of the Capital for them instead. The personal tour were nice of them, too.

So, you're saying that Trump wouldn't have opened the doors of the capital and given them tours?

"They opened the door." They were being overwhelmed so they fell back to a better defensive position. (The guy who assaulted this officer is of course among the criminals that were pardoned).

Jan. 6 rioter sentenced to more than 7 years for officer assault

That needs to happen, too. I'd love to see the developers in FL lose their shirts.

This thread epitomizes why I thought all the States Rights stuff was pure BS theatrics. X if I am in charge and Y if you are in charge.

    Bipolar nation

    PS Obama deported more.
