I have been following Anna Bourdage for 2 years. When Keagan was coming, I read that Laura used the Tincher pitching technique. That led me down a rabbit hole learning about it. i’ve been searched for coaches who taught it which eventually led me to Anna‘s mom. I messaged her on Facebook and we message back-and-forth a few times. I asked her if she thought about college coaching, but she said she was not seasoned enough. I read all of Anna‘s posts, but have never liked, commented, followed her. She is an exciting prospect, who, if she keeps developing will be a great college pictcher.
Also, this Texas Tech player just entered the portal this afternoon. Texas Tech Softball Infielder Enters Transfer Portal[/QUOTE] TT player, Reagan Jennings entered the portal. Jennings was primarily used as a pinch hitter and led the team in batting average at .398. She scored 20 runs on 35 hits while adding 19 RBIs. TT coach Glasco made this statement about Jennings, “To have an All-American type pinch hitter or the best pinch hitter in America, either way, you want to say it,”. Jennings might be a good pickup for her hitting.
Skylar can't catch a break. For the 5th time in a row she just destroyed a pitch and it was caught by a nice running play at the fence in left center. Five swings...one double. BTW...the game is on ESPN2.
But Jordan Roberts with one of her patented bombs out of the park to left. I think they said 277 feet.
Government probably gets half of that, plus agents and other hanger-ons, but she should still be in a pretty good place when she graduates. With the right investments, she shouldn’t have to worry too much about what average grads are making. Even without a half mill+ in the bank when she leaves college, I don’t think she was ever destined for average. She also likely made plenty of contacts at stanford while she was there, and the network you gain access to is the biggest perk to most of the high level degrees anyway, imo.
Maybe Leah persuades her to join. But I wouldn't be surprised if she follows her former teammate to Baton Rouge.
So looks to me like we might have to play a pitcher or two in the field when they aren't in the circle.
I see Alyssa Hovermale has committed to South Carolina. Wish her well…except when she plays our Mighty Gators
I might not like the nature of the game these days but it is what it is and it isn’t going to change so…I think we should all start paying that stupid people tax aka lottery. If just one of us won that’s a cool million towards gators softball NIL every season. I mean I’d definitely donate and yall would too I’m sure, right? I think this is an excellent plan with very low probabilities of success! I’m off to the nearest gas station to do my part lol!
