I have a lot of admiration for Oregon State's baseball program. 3 national titles in the last 20 years (is there any other program with that man since 2005?) and now going to the CWS as an independent. Incredible. Plus the knocked out FSU. I'm rooting for them in Omaha.
I stopped paying attention Oregon State many moons ago. The concept their program does things the right way is subject to varying opinions. I take you back to the 2018 baseball season - Luke Heimlich, a former Oregon State baseball pitcher, was the subject of significant controversy due to a juvenile plea of guilty to child molestation. When you are hiddle in the northwest quad of sports things can be forgotten about from media perspective.
They should have scored more. Bases loaded with 1 out and got a strike out and ground ball to end the inning. Murray State can flat out hit. It's just a matter of pitching depth that will determine whether or not they can pull off another upset and get to Omaha tonight.
I like Murray St...and Oregon St Don't care for Coastal , lsu, Louisville UCLA..and for reasons mentioned by TJTHEGATOR..I don't want Arkansas to win
Even w/ all the upsets this year, still 5 of T16(host) in CWS..Same as last year.. All T8 last year though.
Unless the Gators are involved I always pull for the underdogs. Of the Top 16 seeds, only #3, #6, #8, #13 & #15 make it to Omaha. That's pretty amazing. I have to pull for Oregon State & Coastal on the one side, Murray State on the other. I certainly don't want UCLA or LSU to win and because Arkansas is the highest seed left, I don't want them to either. But I would prefer the Razorbacks over UCLA & LSU.
