I was going to write an email of support to CTW. I did notice that his email and phone extension is taken down from the Softball Roster page. I do have his email. I will attempt to write him and give him my backing.
Anyone who gives credence to the mother of a player who is bashing CTW after said player has transferred is short sighted to say the least. Obviously her feelings are hurt, so she is framing everything from her point of view, which paints her daughter as without fault. I am not going to bash her or her daughter, only remind folks there are 2 sides to every story and even if she is mostly right, which I doubt, doing this doesn't help her at all. It in no way benefits her daughter. The only thing it does is damage to the program and coach Walton. No one thought badly of her daughter for transferring.
This also applies to Program Coordinator Brittany Souilliard and Program Assistant Kaitlyn Leddy who you could always get help on Softball admistrative questions. This whole thing is mysterious.
Support staff extensions and emails are still up including Brittany and Kaitlin. I just looked now at 12:20.
That has changed. Earlier today they were not. But as you said, they are up now. There was no intension on my part to mislead
A couple of likely not overly thrilling comments about Athletes Unlimited and pro ball in general. First of all, people keep hitting the ball at Jessi Warren, including Korbe. DO NOT DO THAT! Second, by necessity I guess, you end up with a couple outfielders that really aren't outfielders and it shows. Lastly, Anissa Urtez has simply got to be in the conversation of the best shortstop to ever play this game.
Korbe with bases loaded blasts a rocket on the ground to third. I said DON'T DO THAT. BTW Korbe is playing in center tonight.
Jessi, from third, fields a bunt half way up the first base line and while falling to her chest throws out the batter. I mean, seriously. That's nuts.
Tried Gator softball website at 8:31 EST. Site not responding. Must have been hacked by angry mother. Is the time displayed for posts GMT? Why? Update: site back up at 9:15 EST. Ramsom must have been paid.
