Please not as large as the Chicxulub asteroid impact. The Tunguska event might still be a little bit too extreme.
Top 5 argument can be made for fsu, but I have hard time seeing a team as top 5 with no NCs. That's what you play for imo. I can see Miami easily as top 5 historically, but not even top 10 currently.
If you told me AU will never miss tourney again(successful season) but will never beat Bama again,, where do I sign up & what will it cost me? ... but to each their own.lol
I misremembered the order of the games. Forgot they repayed us with a blowout in game 3 after we put put a football score against them in game 2. The close game was game one where we lost in extra innings and he wasn't the pitcher. The overall point remains. We let that one get away and to LSU to boot.
I think weve done this in past.. but my list 1 USc 2 Tex 3 Miami 4 LSU... then it becomes preferences. I obv dont value titles as much as most. but do value them. But i also think 5 CWS trips equals a title for example.. and heavy on how many times in the field, host , etc. overall succes. so after those 4.. Arz St/ FSU prob my next 2 . then you got ur west coast crew CSF , Stanf, Org Arz, all in next mix. then(or, if you prefer) the sec crew UF, Sc, Vandy. Would stick Ok St , Clem, Witchita St in there somewhere also. and prob someone Im forgetting So where do you rankk Fresno St all time? T25 at least right?
Yep, tough series, thought we had it after game 2. The worse memory for me was the 2011 loss to SC in game 1 in extra innings after having multiple chances to win in regulation. Thought we would finally win one, but it took 6 more years.
Remember Langford hit that rope late in the game that would have given us the lead but their left fielder made a catch by just throwing his glove up and the damn ball found it in game 1 Yes that was our CWS but bs happens to us at times
Yup. Another sore memory. So close to 3 titles. Texas just beat us squarely in 05. Not fun but an easier pill to swallow even if it was frustrating watching the bats go dry.
Their ace Doyle had a bad game, gave up 5 early and the relievers gave up a slam. Was happy to see this matchup since Vitello has had little success vs his former boss Van Horn and Arkansas while at UT.
I am glad they don't reseed, but if LSU comes through, the top seeded teams play in the first round https://www.ncaa.com/brackets/baseball/d1/2025
He pitched 3.2, 5 earned runs. He loaded the bases before coming out in the 4th. 1 scored on a wild pitch by the relievers, the other 2 scored on a grand slam. Just didn't have it today.
Good for Louisville! I have a friend who played women’s lacrosse @ Louisville. She’s excited about Louisville’s baseball success.
