So, if he's acquitted, you won't accept the outcome? But blame some liberal judge or some BS like that? No way Abrego Garcia can actually be innocent in your eyes? Actual evidence be damned?!?

Totally off topic and it has nothing to do with this thread or anything else on GC but I thought you might enjoy this.

This morning my daughter in law paid us a visit with her 2 kids. My laptop happened to be open sitting on the table with GC on the screen. For no reason at all your Avatar just happened to be on the screen. Ainsley my 4 year old granddaughter walked over and pointed at your Avatar and just started laughing. When I went to close the laptop she stopped me. Something about that picture just entertained her. I thought about posting this to you a few hours ago when it happened but didn't. Now that you address me on something else I figured you might get a kick out of her reaction to your Avatar.

Awwww that's sweet. That's Abby, our black lab. She lived to be 16 years old and was such a sweet mellow dog. None of our dogs since then would allow me to put glasses on them!

Tell her Abby says hi :)

Your inability to actually define an "illegal" makes this statement impossible to interpret if you know the immigration law. "Illegal immigrants" don't generally have scheduled hearings in front of immigration judges. That is usually for asylum seekers or those seeking a specific type of Visa.

The questions raised by the new charges against Kilmar Abrego Garcia

Some pretty damning evidence against Garcia. Also a problem for democrats and the media to the extent some tried to characterize him as innocent, if it turns out he isn’t.

His deportation to a prison in El Salvador without due process was absolutely the wrong thing to do, and defending his right to due process is absolutely the right thing to do, but it politically it is a more difficult message.

    ^Definitely.

Another cycle of Trumpy deception; break the law and violate the Constitution, but establish a political football that will play to a great deal of our uninformed citizens.

    True leadership.

The problem is the media and people get so TDS, they put aside their normal objective processes and go the other way. Calling this out and demanding he deserves due process and calling out sending people to state funded gulags is absolutely appropriate. Making him out to be an innocent victim without doing full due diligence isn’t.

It is a tough balance to get right.

    ^Definitely.

Perhaps our country not sending people to gulags and having honest leadership is the best solution. Then we wouldn't have a fake political football to fight over, solely for political gain.

I was one of the guys and they were in fact innocent of the crimes with which they were coerced into guilty pleas.

As far as Abrego Garcia is concerned he is innocent until proven guilty and it's very possible that the charges were trumped up to allow the Adminstration to save face especially considered that Ben Schrader, the Chief of the criminal division at the US attorney’s office for the Middle District of Tennessee resigned the day that Abrego Garcia was indicted because he thought that the indictment was politically motivated.

They were exonerated and are now free persons. And DNA evidence not only helped prove their innocence, it helped find the b actual perpetrator.

The DNA found on the victim matched someone in the system serving time for other, similar crimes. Matias Reyes, who later confessed. All this lead to the CP5 being exonerated and records being purged. And now, between the CP5 and Donald Trump, collectively, they have 34 felony convictions.

The Central Park 5 were guilty as hell. All you have to do is listen to their confessions.

Inconsistent confessions from scared, tired, and confused kids with no criminal past. Or, DNA evidence and a confession from a man convicted of similar crimes. Which is more accurate? Should be very an easy choice.
