Kaylee isn't in the portal yet. College Gym News has a good list of those in the portal and those who have transferred to new schools: Tracking 2026 Season Transfers - College Gym News eMjae is on the list showing California to Florida. If Kaylee wants to perform, she will have to transfer injury or not in my opinion. UF is just too talented and deep to give her anything more than occasional performances on the floor presuming she is healthy. The problem as I understand it is the transfer portal closed for this cycle. She can go, but she won't be performing anywhere in the 2026 season if she leaves UF: Transfer Portal Dates for NCAA DI Athletes Considering a Transfer For Division I Winter Sport athletes, those Transfer Portal windows are closed except for a few sports. Those are: Men’s Basketball – May 11 Women’s Basketball – May 11 Women’s Bowling – May 28 Fencing – May 13 Men’s Gymnastics – June 3 Women’s Gymnastics – May 19 Men’s Ice Hockey – May 18
College Gym news is compiling the list based on what athletes have posted. They do not have access to the portal. Kaylee has not posted anything but that doesn’t mean she isn’t in the portal.
Kaylee could have entered the portal without announcing as no announcement is required. She could be contacting only schools she is interested in rather than giving the green light for any interested coaching staff to contact her. If she is in the portal, it could be as simple as CJR advised Kaylee at the end of the season interviews that she has a roster/scholarship slot, but her chances of performing will be few. If Kaylee stays or leaves for better chances to be on the floor performing regularly, all is good. Kaylee is a well thought of Gator fan favorite and life-long Gator regularly attending Gator camps so there is zero chance she is being pushed out.
Still Way Too Early 2026 Power Rankings: Still Way Too Early Power Rankings for the 2026 Season - College Gym News Brandis Hefner has had a snarky attitude towards UF in most everything he contributes on College Gym News. For a change, I don't disagree his top 4 power assessment: 1. Florida Last Ranking: No. 2 For the second year in a row, the Gators have snagged arguably the top gymnast in the portal, convincing former California star eMjae Frazier to finish her career on the other side of the country in a move that mirrors Selena Harris-Miranda’s from a year ago. Harris-Miranda has worked out well for Florida, who now has a second top-20 all-arounder from a season ago in Frazier to help replace the key routines from Leanne Wong. Add that to the return of Kayla DiCello, a healthier Skye Blakely, and five-star recruits who just performed well at their final level 10 nationals, and the Gators have all the pieces they need to bounce back from the early end to their 2025 campaign. 2. LSU Last Ranking: No. 3 It has been a positive offseason thus far for the Tigers, who got strong performances from their incoming class at level 10 nationals and picked up one of the top transfer portal targets in Madison Ulrich from Denver. Her all-around potential will be critical in filling the big lineup holes left by the departing class, with five-star recruit Nina Ballou’s all-around and floor wins at nationals helping her make a case to be a four-eventer as a rookie, too. Other than another surgery to former elite Zoe Miller, who missed her freshman season due to injury, the offseason has been plenty positive for LSU. 3. Oklahoma Last Ranking: No. 1 The KJ Kindler era has largely been defined by her ability to recruit the top level 10 gymnasts, with this year’s current No. 1 recruit, Mackenzie Estep, the next in line to star for the Sooners. She capped off her level 10 career with a pair of titles at nationals, finishing on top of the bars podium and earning a perfect 10 on a booming Yurchenko one and a half to take that event win. While Estep already looks lineup-ready on several events, Oklahoma slides a bit in the rankings as fellow SEC schools are adding more experience through the portal, with experience something that often plays a role in giving teams an edge while building for a new season. 4. UCLA Last Ranking: No. 4 A commitment switch went UCLA’s way for its major storyline of the offseason, as four-star recruit Ashlee Sullivan announced she’ll be joining the Bruins in the fall instead of Michigan. That gives UCLA a trio of U.S. elites in their large incoming class, with Nola Matthews and five-star Tiana Sumanasekera leading the charge. The Bruins have momentum from their runner-up finish and are on track to maintain it for another run at a finals appearance. I like UCLA a ton coming into the 2026 season. It would not surprise me to see the Gators and Bruins fighting it out for 1 & 2 come the national finals. LSU and Oklahoma are 6 or one and half a dozen of the other. Both had big losses that will be hard to replace.
All 9 SEC Women's Gymnastics Teams will be participating in the 2026 SEC Tournament Championship: SEC Gymnastics Championships to include all 9 schools moving forward - Gymnastics Now The 2025 Southeastern Conference Spring Meetings concluded Thursday, with SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey addressing several topics, including conference athletic directors approving including all nine SEC schools that sponsor gymnastics to participate in the SEC Gymnastics Championships starting in 2026. After a season that saw the Razorbacks beat LSU and Florida – teams ranked No. 2 in the nation at the time of competition – during the regular season, Arkansas still ended up as the ninth-place team in the SEC by National Qualifying Score (NQS) and was subsequently eliminated from competing at the conference championship meet. This, despite being the No. 16 team in the country at the time (the Razorbacks would finish No. 12 overall after the NCAA tournament). The team also lost out on an away meet score to potentially include in its NQS, which could’ve impacted postseason seeding.
That doesn't look like Skylar to me. The girl in the photos has a thinner face while Skylar's is rounder. Skylar's X account has none of that. EDIT: This is that girl who is not Skylar: If you'd like to see some stunningly good photos of Skylar that she posted herself from a recent cruise, try her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skylardraser/
House settlement approved by the judge:: House Settlement Approved by Judge - CollegeGymFans.com The money thing is beyond my paygrade. The ship numbers for gymnastics are now officially 20. EDITED: Adding Scott Stricklin Comments: https://247sports.com/college/flori...ement-house-ncaa-settlement-ruling-250706800/ The money seems to level the playing field for revenue sharing. Again, above my paygrade, but it looks like NIL is still available too: NCAA president Charlie Baker penned a letter in response to the landmark settlement: "Approving the agreement reached by the NCAA, the defendant conferences and student-athletes in the settlement opens a pathway to begin stabilizing college sports," Baker wrote. "This new framework that enables schools to provide direct financial benefits to student-athletes and establishes clear and specific rules to regulate third-party NIL agreements marks a huge step forward for college sports."
Fisk to discontinue gymnastics after the 2026 season: BREAKING: Fisk to Discontinue Gymnastics Program After 2026 Season - College Gym News I think Fisk is the program that UF supplied their leotards for their first season: Fisk plans to discontinue its women’s gymnastics program following the conclusion of the 2026 season, according to an email sent Friday afternoon. The news was later confirmed to College Gym News by a former member of the team. The announcement comes just three years after Fisk made history by launching the first-ever HBCU women’s gymnastics team. In the email, the university cited challenges with aligning the program to its athletics structure, noting gymnastics is not a sanctioned sport within the HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC), making scheduling and recruiting increasingly difficult. The decision follows a period of significant transition for Fisk. The program’s founding head coach, Corrinne Tarver, departed earlier this year, and the university has been under financial strain, including delays in FAFSA processing that left many students uncertain about their financial aid. Nashville’s Metro Council stepped in last summer with $500,000 in emergency funding to support Fisk’s operations.
when I click the video link, it takes me right to Skyler‘s video Sponsored by Cox. I do not know why it takes you somewhere else.
I'm no expert on gymnastics in any way. I like to watch except for balance beam {it makes me cringe}. My first experience with gymnastics was the Nadia Comaneci Olympics. What a performer she was and IMO a catalyst for gymnastics. Of course, my second crush of a gymnast was the effervescent Mary Lou. Sadly, I read recently she was arrested for a DUI in West Virginia. It happens and I hope she comes out OK with the charge. I am curious as to you who post a lot, of who is your favorite Gator and non-Gator gymnast of all time. I'm sure Trinity will come up as will the two I mentioned above. Thanks for reading my trip down memory lane and a post that I may get an off topic on. Candy
Bridget Sloan / Kytra Hunter / Alex McMurtry / Alyssa Baumann / Leanne Wong / Trinity Thomas / Megan Skaggs / Melissa Miller / Olga Korbut from Russia, my first introduction to women's gymnastics in the 1972 Olympics. Melissa Miller was UF from 1986 - 1989. She was a 6 time All-American. I didn't follow UF gymnastics in those days. I followed Melissa because she was from Pensacola where I was born, grew up, and still live today. Locally, I watched Melissa entertaining crowds at basketball games when she was a little girl. You just knew she was going to be somebody special in gymnastics and she was. Olga Korbut wasn't much to look at, but she was the best women's gymnast in the world doing the most difficult routines. She was just a skinny little girl doing things that no one thought could be done at that time. I have zero recall of anyone on the US team during the 1972 Olympics. Russia was the top team in gymnastics before Romania came along with Nadia Comaneci:
