they just need to keep adding to the total until they are ALL gone FBI has arrested more than 10,000 illegal migrants since Trump took office
The Trump administration made about ~500,000 people illegal in the last few months. So in about 25 years at that rate that will just about cover those people.
so you're wanting them to arrest at a faster pace or are you of the opinion that if you cant arrest them all, then dont even bother?
Cool that the FBI is focusing on arresting illegal dish washers, roofers, and lawn boys instead of election meddling and crypto scamming….
My first question is why the FBI has been pulled into immigration enforcement, and what sorts of crimes they are deprioritizing to arrest some roofers at a Home Depot
Perhaps they want to prevent the crime these illegals are doing. Realize some chose to ignore those crimes since they’d have to acknowledge that these illegals have to go
I mean, FBI used to be charged with investigating political corruption, but the Trump folks have essentially legalized that by offering pardons to every corrupt politician that they can find.
They want more immigration arrests, so they've deputized anyone they can to do it, its really no more complicated than that. They aren't prioritizing criminals or crime, they are literally camping out in front of courthouses to arrest people coming to their court mandated appointments. They are literally picking the low hanging fruit to boost their numbers and get guys like the OP hot and bothered.
Everyday they are taking illegal rapists, murders and pedo's off the street. Whatever media you consume doesn't print these stories. Just google "illegal rapist." There are 100's of stories.
The overwhelming majority of "illegals" taken into custody by ICE have committed no other "crime" than illegal presence in the US. Very few are actual criminals who have committed serious crimes like rape or murder or are actual gang members. The reason that the Trump Administration removed temporary protected status from hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans, Haitians and Cubans was to pump up the numbers of deportations. The number of actual criminal illegals is so low that Trump and his appointee ICE Barbie had to increase the number of deportees by withdrawing the legal status of immigrants that they could immediately locate.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. - Jesus —Matthew 25:25–36 He (God) defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. —Deuteronomy 10:18–19 "So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty. —Malachi 3:5 “As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name- for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm-when they come and pray toward this temple, then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name. —1 Kings 8:41–44
what is it about following and enforcing our immigration laws that vehemently seems to bother the left so much. It did not seem to bother the left when Obama said we had to do so - is it just because you have so much hate for Trump that he is following our immigration laws is another thing to complain about?
Because our immigration laws are woefully inadequate to meet our immigration needs. I made the same argument during Obama's years as well. We have around 8 million undocumented immigrants in our workforce and about 7 million on unemployment. The majority of unemployed can't or won't do average immigrant jobs, and half of the current unemployed will likely have a job, in their field, in the next 3 months. With our current work permit quotas, if we magically deported every undocumented person today, it would take decades to backfill the needed labor force. We would also more than double the number of job openings, which stand at around 7.4 million today. Immigrants that commit serious crime in the US should be deported. But most migrants do not. And being here undocumented is a civil offense, not a serious crime. Fix our immigration laws first, then let's see what happens.
so if you think our immigration laws are inadequate then try and do something about it other than whine and throw venom at those who support our laws- if you cannot change the laws then get out of the way
You could say the same for the Trump administration who has violated numerous laws and court orders that are inconvenient and contrary to their aims. You've said yourself in the past you dont care as long as people are deported, we all know its not about following laws for you.
